US Soccer hires SeaWorld’s Chelle Adams as CFO
U.S. Soccer has hired SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Chief Transformation Officer Chelle Adams as its new CFO, marking the latest in a series of C-level hires by the sport’s national governing body. Adams’ started in her new role with the federation yesterday after a 13-month stint at SeaWorld. She previously spent a decade with The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, including seven years as CFO, and nine years as a partner in charge at RubinBrown’s hospitality and gaming services group. At U.S. Soccer, Adams will play a key role in the development of the federation’s new National Training Center in Atlanta.
U.S. Soccer also recently hired Stagwell Chief Product Officer Abe Geiger in the same role and Wave Sports + Entertainment EVP/Operations Shari Summers as Chief Soccer Growth Officer. The two started in September and August, respectively. Adams, Geiger and Summers all report up to U.S. Soccer CEO JT Batson. Geiger previously served as Chief Product Officer at Hudson MX, an advertising technology firm co-founded by Batson.
